of all the times I've wanted to try
I just denied all my feelings I had
playing some kind of fool
pretending it was some kind of joke
saying it was going to cause you hurt
when I knew deep down it would make both of us happy
saying it was just a crush
pushing you away hoping you would stay and correct my faults

Of all the times I tried,
saying all this was a lie
if only you knew I really adored you.
maybe you would have stayed
of all these times I've wanted to say
I'm sorry and I really love you.

But catching myself before I could speak my true feelings
by telling myself I was just pretending and I would get over it.
Acting like a fool
knowing I was doing wrong
if only you knew how much I wanted to correct my faults

I've ***** up so many times
of all the times I've wanted to try
I just denied all my feelings I had

this reminds me of myself actually. weakness gets you nowhere but where you dont want you to be. the same goes for lies. why not go out onto a limb? thats where all the fruits at. =] being sorry does nothing. actions speak louder than words.
