To feel like there is absolutely no one to go to
And the person that you can go to can't possibly understand it all
Constantly having to act fake just so people will notice you
Knowing that they really couldn’t give a flip about how you feel
Living each day like a turtle hiding in its shell
Afraid to face the world and all its evil
Feeling like if I were to show my real life
I would get laughed at and given weird looks
Knowing that being lonely is a lifestyle for me
And constantly on the verge of tears at night
I hide my pain and sorrow
Holding on to it like no ones business
Not showing anybody but one
I live my life wondering if anyone cares
Hiding in the shadows when pain comes
Constantly am I paranoid that someone will find out
Find out that I'm hurting
Will find out this anger and pain
I must keep my act up
I have everything to lose if I were to be found out
You would think I would want people to find out my pain
I use to think that too but it just wouldn’t work any more
I must keep my fake life going

I think in the end everyone is on their own, for better or worse. You can never totally be understood by anyone. Good luck on living with that depressing truth :(
