No one could figure it out
We did everything together
Until the day he passed on
And I was to stay here
To this day I still remember the terrible pain
That awful day replays in my mind
My daddy picked me up and told me
I didn’t believe him I couldn’t believe him
The next picture that flashes in my mind is the funeral
I was so scared and so confused
I remember thinking he was playing hide and seek
But I couldn’t find him
The funeral hall had a musty smell to it
My daddy told me he wasn’t coming back
I yelled at him to stop joking
But I had to come to an understanding he isn’t coming back

This is a sad poem. It reminds me of when I lost someone close to me when I was young, and this poem made me cry. Still, it's a good poem.
