Array ( [sid] => 7940 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Nicky is Gone [time] => 2002-12-04 15:30:00 [hometext] => This a poem for my writing class. I had to write a poem about a childhood experiance and this is the child view of it. [bodytext] => My cousin and I have a very special bond
No one really knows why
We do everything together
One day he dies
I am left here without him
My daddy picks me up from Lynn’s
Its six days after my sixth birthday
He tells me that Nicky died during the night
I wont believe him, I cant believe him
I go to the funeral
Nicky must be playing hide and seek but I can’t find him
He must have found a really good spot
“It smells in here daddy
Lets go to the park
Can Nicky come?
But you have to help me find him”
He sits me down
And tells me that Nicky is in heaven with God
I wont hear it
Nicky is here
He wouldn’t leave me
I just have to find him then we can go to the park
“Nicky where are you?”
Then I realize he is safe and out of pain
“I miss you Nicky
But I will see you in heaven I whisper
I love you and good-bye”

Just remember he's in a place where angels can look down and watch over us all. He's not in no pain
