The Dreamer
By Katherine Faigen
You sit with the sun on your hair
Vous vous asseyez avec le soleil dans vos cheveux
The sky in your eyes
le ciel dans vos yeux
A dreamer
Un rêveur
You watch the clouds
Vous observez les nuages
The wind blows by
Le vent souffle près
A hopeless dreamer
un rêveur sans espoire
You rest in the grass
Vous vous reposez dans l'herbe
You close your eyes
Vous fermez vos yeux
Always a dreamer
toujours un rêveur

lol its always nice for me to see people who write the same titles as i do. I know a bit of French myself but even if i didn't you made it clear for those who are not bilingual. Really solemn kind of poem here, you captured what it means to dream so powerfully in my opinion. Great work! |
