And the sound of it makes you smile bright.

The sweet innocence and frailty of their face
Makes it easier to sleep at night.

You see the sun beat on their face in a whole new perspective,
And you protect them from the monsters that darken their bed.

You ran to their side at the first sign of tears
You kissed it all better even if it never really hurt in the first place.

So....
Where were you when she suffered?
Could you hear her crying at night?

Did you see it in her face?
Could you see the fear in her eyes?

Where were you when she bled from deep with in?
Why did you just leave her there.....

You can hear a child’s laughter from ten feet away
And the sound of it makes you smile bright.

thanks! alot fo people told me that the rythym was all messed up and i know that but i couldnt chane it, had to keep it that way cause theres something about it ^_^

it is true that a child can change thing but some people dont want to change being left out does hurt but look to God and he will help.

this was a good poem dont let what happend top you dictate what you are dont become something your not.
