Two years, how wonderful they were
and now a Broken Heart
To say it is hard to handle
I wouldn't know where to start

The feelings, at least mine
were so true and real
Each word I ever uttered
I could never conceal

What she meant to me
and my overwhelming desire
Each moment with her, near or far
within my heart, a burning fire

To now know, that her words
were just that, not true
Each and every time
she said I love you

Hopefully time will heal
and the tears will leave my eyes
And my Broken Heart
will recover from all the lies

They say time heals all
of this I am not so sure
One thing I do know
It will not be easy to endure

i know exactly where you're coming from man, its tough. Im not so sure about that time heals all stuff too, I mean I'm over her and all, but there's always going to be that little special place for that special someone.

No, it never is.

The idea that time heals all... wounds..

Is a helpful suggestion in order to help the soul with a great loss.

I can still recall my first love. It was not a puppy love, yet because I was a teenager, that is what it was called.

We have learned to keep going forward, so we do not get trapped by our own standstill. In a sense, it is covering up a wound.. putting a band-aid on the pain. No, the pain never goes away, we just learn how to deal with it. Just as we do, when we lose a loved one from death.

To now know, that her words
were just that, not true
Each and every time
she said I love you

Yes, if we only knew then. But would we still have less the pain?

I like this stanza..

The feelings, at least mine
were so true and real
Each word I ever uttered
I could never conceal

Very valuable self contact...
