between her death and the hood,
of your car.
Wondering what you were thinking,
when you started drinking,
and where you are.

[Refrain]

Is there a place known as Heaven,
ever dreaming, quite unstill,
and are there angels, who watch us live our lives, until
we join the ranks of Heaven,
where everything is meant to be,
and if you're in a place called Heaven,
will you save a spot for me?

She saw you buy the beer,
and saw you drive away from here,
not looking back.
But it was cold, and it was raining,
and all your friends were entertaining,
but suddenly, everything went black.

Is there a place known as Heaven,
ever dreaming, quite unstill,
and are there angels, who watch us live our lives, until
we join the ranks of Heaven,
where everything is meant to be,
and if you're in a place called Heaven,
will you save a spot for me?

You never saw it comming,
when she saw, she started running,
to where you were.
You were dying, but she held you,
She told you that she loved you,
and prayed God would leave you and take her.

Is there a place known as Heaven,
ever dreaming, quite unstill,
and are there angels, who watch us live our lives, until
we join the ranks of Heaven,
where everything is meant to be,
and if you're in a place called Heaven,
will you save a spot for me?

[Bridge]

Would you tell God (If there is one)
to look, at what he's done,
he took you to heaven, but he left me in hell.
And without you, I'm not living,
I'm so dead, it's unforgiving,
can't you tell?

Is there a place known as Heaven,
ever dreaming, quite unstill,
and are there angels, who watch us live our lives, until
we join the ranks of Heaven,
where everything is meant to be,
and if you're in a place called Heaven,
will you save a spot for me?

Unique how she stood,
between her death, and the hood,
of your car.
