I feel the cold air wrap all around me,
I stand here not knowing if I want to be,
Thoughts of confusion dance in my eyes,
How I long to find a place that’s so dry

My wet body feeling the force of the cold,
I am too weak to even pretend to be bold,
I just let myself be consumed,
As with reality I am not finely tuned.

I know not what to feel or think,
I feel too tired to even eat or to drink,
I will stand here for a thousand years,
Cry many more than a million tears.

Here I stay with the waterfall above,
It seems with myself I have fallen out of love,
I feel numb as the water trickles all around,
I stay silent even as I fall to the ground.

Waterfall

As I stand under the waterfall,
I look to the sky & feel insignificant & small,
I shiver as the cold water covers my skin,
Causing me to shake from my head to deep within.

I feel the cold air wrap all around me,
I stand here not knowing if I want to be,

pixie..I love waterfalls and would love to be under one. I think you meant to put the word to in here though..

Great poem. It portrays emotions nicely. the poem kind of keeps you guessing till the very end. Great write

God i don't know if i will ever get tired of reading your work. I want to write like this someday. I've been writing for years and some of my poems still don't seem to satisfy me. Ah oh well. Great write yet again.
