Array ( [sid] => 7897 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => THE CHILDREN [time] => 2002-12-03 19:00:00 [hometext] => I was inspired to write this poem by a magazine writer from Cal. who interviewed children who lived on the streets. [bodytext] => The children are a gift to us from our Lord.
They need to have alot of understanding and love.
They are never to be abused or hindered in anyway by the hand of the sword.
The children are precious as the sight of a beautiful morning dove.

Can we close our eyes to the children who are lonely and afraid?
Anyone can open their hearts and arms to their plight.
God sees the children and knows how each one of us will take the steps to be made,
To help the children of any race, red, black or white.

We cannot delay because the children will be broken like a toy.
Let us all work togehter to protect, care, and do for them.
Let us work together as one to bring the children plenty of joy.
They deserve all the love that each one of us can give, for they are a gift , after all, as God intended for us to have this knowledge and understanding known by all men.
