Christmas is what people create,
thinking its just more gifts to buy,

Santa and his reindeer to come on that night,
Is only what children know,
getting presents,and cards to write,
a kiss under the mistletoe,

But thats not the reason we celebrate at all,
remember what it is?
To some it's easy to recall,
Jesus was born on Christmas,

We are celebrating Jesus Birthday,
giving gifts to whom we love,
but do we ever stop to say,
Happy Birthday to Jesus above,

Some more than others,tend to forget,
people have made it this way,
we all just get caught up in it,
But really it's Jesus birthday,

So during your shopping at the mall,
and around your Christmas tree,
The reason we celebrate at all,
Jesus was born from Mary!

Remember why we all celebrate,
so often we forget why,
Christmas is what people create,
thinking its just more gifts to buy,

I like this..it's so true. It's way to easy to concentrate on the gift giving part of Christmas, especially when you have children. But is always important to remember just what the holiday is really about.
