but in truth you are my heart
Thats why everyday it kills me
to know that we are apart

As I write this poem
your voice fills my mind
I gave you everything I had
and then I was left behind

You played with my heart
You played with my life
Now I play our songs
as I play with the knife

You've seen the knife,
watched it cut before
I carve your name
to be reminded forever more

I gave you a nickname
I thought it fit well
Let me say this my butterfly
you will see me in hell

I cut deep
as I play our song
I'm on to someplace new
maybe there I will belong

My time here
which will soon be through
An entire life
has wasted on you [comments] => 4 [counter] => 223 [topic] => 36 [informant] => crash [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

brilliant write. well rhymed. well written. amazing to say the least. this reminded me of linkin park and staind, two of my favorite bands, also a plus. this was fully of emotion, power, and meaning. you conveyed all of them so well.
