And my dress is white and blue
I have porcelian skin and shiny hair
I'm polished and brand new
I live inside this empty dollhouse
Where I have such bad dreams
But, actulley they aren't dreams at all
It's my reality it seems
When I am ready to be played with
I am pulled right off the shelf
How I wish I were invisible
or that I could kill myself
You play rough with my fragile body
You make me do things which I can't name
It leaves you with an evil grin
It leaves me in so much shame
This little babydoll's glass eyes
have seen so much that they should not
She'll spend hours trying to forget
things that cannot be forgot
All alone in the dusty corners
of her dollhouse she will weep
Her whole body shaking
from her head to the stockings on her feet
She dreads the next day's play time
His toy she hates to be
For she has feelings too
But, that is somethiing he can't see
In his mind this does not affect her
She's much too young to know
But, just how wrong his thinking is
He will never know
And no one else seems to notice
The changes taking place
Little Dolly still looks happy
She pretends behind that face
For, this smile is painted on you see
It is not real at all
And forever and always I will be
