Only skeletons hold your hand,
Demons that come from your past,
Only their friendship will last.

They torment as you fall,
Laugh & drown out your call,
They would dance on your grave,
Kill you leave nothing left to save.

Loneliness lives in all our hearts,
Only to cry makes the process start,
Once it’s begun you can not stop,
Until it has drained your every drop.

This land is one to be greatly feared,
This is one that you don’t want near,
But it lives on as we all die,
It is the only thing that makes us all cry.

When darkness falls all around,
It is so quiet you can’t hear a sound,
There’s no-one there to hear your screams,
Only horrors to dissect what were once dreams

This was bloody awesome. I loved the
darkness and sense of hopelessness in this
one I know it all to well. I think the first two
lines and the last two were my favourite, but it
was all awesome. Kudos on a great write.
