Hoping to be lost in that feeling of bliss
But something's wrong this time
She stares ashamed at the red line

She throws down the blade
Wishing that red line to fade
She cuts herself for petty things
She never knew she always had wings

She picks up the blade
For everytime she could have left, she's glad she stayed
She snaps it in half
And for what seems the first time she begins to laugh

Because the blade broke
From that nightmare she awoke
So she spreads out her wings
With invisible angels she sings

No more silent cries of help
In the she finally freed her of herself. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 61 [informant] => blueeyedevil13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

Gosh, I LOVE this. It's so nice to see a poem where someone overcomes it all and is so so strong.
I know many more could do this too.
A fantastic write, it is very good to see.
*hugs* Phil xxx

I absolutly love this poem. I feel the same way "she" does. This is amazing. i feel ashamed of the now light scars on my wrists but I am proud too b/c i have finally stopped doing what i knew all along was so stupid.
