Running through my veins is where they sleep..
I don't want to share them for they are all mine
I'll keep them eternally for all time
I'll show you how they make me feel
And show you my friends are very real...
Now Meth is a strong liquified type of friend
He runs through my veins with a warm cinge
He takes all my cares and he tucks them away
And makes every moment a time to play...
Coke is a teaser he'll make you want more
And tell you that you'll be ok in the morn
He teases my heart and he makes it beat fast
He comes in large bulks, in quanities that last...
Weed is most everybody's old best friend
He searches my mind time and time again
He knows how to make you hungry and to sleep
He makes you sit still, he won't let you weep
Now Acid he's the one who gives fright
He puts beautiful visions before your eyes
He goes many places and searches for more
And before your eyes he'll kill people adored...
Speed is the one i cherish most of all
He lifts me up high and he makes me stand tall
He never does fail me he gives me a smile
He's my very best friend he's worth my while...
Now these are my friends and i cherish their worth
Don't judge me because it's with death i flirt
My friends i do know will stab me in my back
And leave me alone for another human to track...

it's pretty sad when ppl have to post anonymously. anyone that can't put a name to their beliefs must not have very much faith in what they are saying.

I hope these guys aren't your best friends still. I mean you got all of us on this website who adore you and your poetry. No need for them. I love the write though. I saw the title and thought it was going to pay homage to your best friends...like people friends...so to hear about meth, coke, wee, speed, acid etc was an offguard catch. But I definately enjoyed it. Thank you OreO. You're So special :)
