So pathetic and weak.
Cherishing everything.

He controls your heart.
So blind and naive.
Believing it all from the start.

His love belongs to another.
So foolish and immature.
False hope that you have each other.

His promises mean nothing.
So sad and hurt.
Forking over your life, so trusting.

He sets you free.
So disappointed.
Why cant you leave?

Duck toy on a string.
So pathetic and weak.

The poem was alright. I couldn't really understand the relationship, or the duck toy on the string. I liked the rhyme scheme, but the poem seemed written from something inside you that an outsider would have trouble understanding

Ahh yes, great analogy here. Relationships can leave us feeling like that little duck with the flapping feet with a toddler pulling us along. Only to leave us stranded in the yard for a bigger and better toy.

peace
