Mummy's afraid she'll kill herself.
That she'll have to bury her little girl.
She fears for her mental health.
Being the only one who wants her daughter to live.

She's been crying in the dark and praying not to wake up.
She doesn't want to feel this sorrow anymore.
There's so much noise, she wishes they'd all just shut up.
And her mother is no where to be seen.

I could really feel the emotions in this poem. It was written very well. I really like that you put into perspective what the mother must be going through. Hope things perk up if they're going bad, but even if they aren't it can always get better! ;-)

For so long depression was shunned and blocked out. People locked up for years for such thoughts. Granted now we've gone from one end of the spectrum to the other where we are an overmedicated population with names for every little glitch within the brain. You've bled the emotions well. Hope things improve. Sooner or later we all will hopefully see the light and actually bask in it instead of running from it.

peace
TS

It is not words that every mother wants to hear about their child. As a child we were taught to be postive on our thoughts and feelings..Sometimes they turn out , sometimes not. If there is a chance that is what most of us would hold onto until the end. I really feel for your pain that your going through..You have captured everything the emotions...well written... Remember take care of yourself..
