like a radiator on fire
Her hat is faded nearby and her drink is
standing oh so close to that electric fence wire
Why can't she reach it
she only has to stretch an inch
I never noticed that her foot was caught
and it's bleeding, and gee what is that stinch?
I myself only now realise -we both must look a sight
Our car is a wreck
and I can't remember what happened last night?
There's ants crawling over my bloody body
My friend layes ever so still
I want to call out to her as my voice
is like a flat battery in a powered drill
All I can do is pray that she is okay
where is somebody to help us
we need help right now, today
As I lay here swetting like a pig
I drift off to a blank dark sky
Time ticks by as I lay here beside my wig
