Array ( [sid] => 78100 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => wish i could wake [time] => 2005-01-01 22:07:31 [hometext] => im so sick of wakeing up in the dark i live in wisconsin and i hate winter .... oh i hate my alarm clock too [bodytext] => shocked to wake
turn on the light
slip out of my sheets
it still looks like night

I look in the mirror
but i dont see me
its a good girl i see
but she doesnt have to be

with a wind burned face
and dried out skin
its winter to which
i hate to wake

then........

Gental light graces my eyes
with one breath warm air
i slip out of my sheets
and in to my suit

down by the water
the sun it glistens
and seems to say " your free,
so embrace this sweet day"

to my cold and creamy coffie
and my fresh water lake
its summer to which
i wish i could wake

Winter in Wisconsin may be a bit cold
But the winter is God's way of renewing the old
So come on now, hop out of that bed
Summer is really not too far ahead...
I enjoyed your poem..take care, Yvonne

Yeah, I know what you're saying.... I'm from Stevens Point. Winter in Wisconsin does kinda suck. I can't stand waking up to dark.
Good poem.
Peace and love,
