Array ( [sid] => 77883 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Just another badly written song [time] => 2004-12-31 10:03:23 [hometext] => this is pretty badly written, its a bit scatter brained but nevertheless if you could PLEASE comment i would appreciate it! [bodytext] => She pulls her hair and screams….
Can’t stand it here any longer
Im just so sick of the smell
Things couldn’t have gone more wrong
And it’s much too early to tell

The future isn’t looking too bright now
And the past is almost pitch black
Its freezing outside and im not quite sure how
Im going to find my way back

My vision keeps blurring
My hands have gone numb
These memories recurring
Seem to weigh over a ton

The burden is harder to bear
With every frostbitten step
But why in gods name should I care?
If im doomed only to fall or trip..

The future isn’t looking too bright now
And the past is almost pitch black
Its freezing outside and im not quite sure how
Im going to find my way back

This place is so full of hidden hatred
It hides in the corners and darkest doorways
The water here is sour and tainted
And the walls are constantly rearranged

There’s dried blood on the floor
And bones built into the rafters
And there won’t be any more
Happily ever after’s
So just give up, let it go down
There’s no point anymore
Just let it drown….

The future isn’t looking too bright now
And the past is almost pitch black
Its freezing outside and im not quite sure how
Im going to find my way back

Just remember girl…
Death is a glutton and takes all he can
So make sure to let him know
You’re going to take your strongest stand
And of your life, never let go
just remember that life is worth something
No matter how pointless at times it may seem
There’s always at least one thing
One small, half broken dream
Its surprising how one dream can keep you
On the hard, yet right road in life
And steer you further towards the truth
And keep your outlook bright

So child, the futures brighter than you know
And the past is far behind us
And you’re going to make it, even though
The road is hard; you’ve got to trust

I liked this one a lot. It has a lot of feeling and confronting imagery, and the chorus is solid. if you don't mind me saying, try not to pre-empt your postings with either "this is bad" or "this is good" - the reader will tell you if they liked it or not. And I liked it.
