[hometext] => This is a short poem about my perspective on children and the impact of the world.
[bodytext] => Truth and innocent is the heart of a child, Unconditional love is given for awhile. The world has yet to corrupt this mind, The little ones are spared for a time, seemingly kind. Woeful ways not ingrained, for it is not time, There is much to experience and discerning of signs. Knowledge is gathered and put into play, It is kept to the fore and presumptuously displayed. The ways of the world will soon take bounty, The great masses will toil and be made lonely. Who will uplift the child of want? Provide for their needs, turn away not!
