Array ( [sid] => 77685 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Mankind? [time] => 2004-12-29 20:29:37 [hometext] => thought of my recent ex-boss-written from his point [bodytext] => I saw him walking in the rain today
(did he notice me?)
crossing the street
head held down
never really looking anyone
in the eyes.
I wonder if he realizes the path of destruction
I have laid out for him?
I have used him up to the point
of frustration,
where your blood boils,
where you can only run,
and run in all directions at once.
Thought it humanly possible?
(NO)
But he's not like others,
he can endure the pain
(can he really?)
My greed and lust of money
sees no such feelings
only knows hunger and thurst
his blood
sweat
and
tears
are just grains of sand in a beach
where only my desires play,
no ocean here to cool you off
as I suck you bone dry.
That man,
he has nowhere to run
nowhere to hide,
not even Nature will raise her
billowing brow to his call.
(what are you?)
I am a beast beyond that
of your fallen angel,
Satan was just an alter boy
in MY sinnful temple,
that beautiful place of
LUST
GREED and
INSTANT GRATIFICATION..
Walls painted red,
blood red,
his blood.
To you,
I'm just another person
(oh really?)
But to people like him,
I'm Man"kind". [comments] => 4 [counter] => 224 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Nardo [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

It's not hard to see through the words. It was put together quite nicely. I wish more people will read and understand what is being said.
