They Are Too Late

Contributed by pUnKa_RaCh on Tuesday, 28th December 2004 @ 11:16:28 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

i try and move on in this hollow state im in, people assume all is well as i secretly scream from within. Normal on the outside but wearing thin my heart begins to strain, i pray every night, pray for refrain.

Would they mourn for me? The loss of a young life, now they see my hopelessness and hunger to be set free from strife. Would they mourn for me? or forget my name and face, trying to recall the dead but i disappear without a trace.

for its too late to save me, to deliver me from this private hell ,to drag me from the pit and break through my inner shell. now its too ***** late and they finally realise, a soul lost amidst the crowd, when a teenager wishes and dies.

suddenly the silence is broken, as my desperate cries are heard, my suicide says it all and im free to fly like a bird. yes now they are too late, lying forever in the grave, all feel my quiet pain, never forgetting the one they could not save.
