When you look back at Junior High?
Do you ever see me
Or only when I walk on by?
Can you see my pain
And how I’d die for your touch?
Or do you see your own
And how you’d die for someone else, just as much?
I’ve let you in my heart, many times before
And now it seems, I want you more and more
I long for you to let me in
I keep knocking asking to come in
But your heart is never home
And when it is it’s all alone
You say I’m just a friend
And that’s when I know it’s at an end. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 212 [topic] => 55 [informant] => O7NeVeS [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

It's hard when the person you're crazy about only thinks of you as a friend. I've been there before. Good poem. :-)

i can relate to this one more then ever, the "we're just friends" thing is the worst when you really care about someone, i feel your pain :)
