A bittersweet sound corrupts my ears
Enhances my senses and disrupts my mind.
I hear it and sigh.
Wondering...
Combusting with Caution,
Confused yet relaxed.
My ears are attuned to the noise.
Stopping...
I open my eyes and look at you
Through fluttered lashes and sweaty hands
You open your mouth in question.
I Stop, Wonder, and Laugh.

This poem really captured the likes of being in that little world you create around you and the person you are 'crushing' on. This was an unexpected surprise for me to read.

My dear friend you have captured the feeling of having a 'crush" so well. I remember feeling like this about a guy. My words would trip over my tongue and my hands were as sweaty as hell, lol. I hope things have advanced for you and aren't still in crush mode~ The best of wishes to you always my dear friend.
warm hugs n smiles,
sue m
