Array ( [sid] => 77341 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Us Lovers Die [time] => 2004-12-26 22:43:45 [hometext] => I wrote this when I was really upset. My relationship with my mother just is just silmply never going to work and I spread my pain to my love. Things are mended now, at least with my Lindsey, but none the less here is what came out. [bodytext] => Shot down and slaughtered,
Knives rip through my chest.
I beg for mercy,
But a deny to my request.

My heart is leaking,
The slashes sewn inefficiently.
I can't help but feeling,
That there's no hope for me.

I lay spread across the floor,
Wide eyed and retired against the door.
Salty tears drip down my face,
Shocked and throbbing,
A prisoner of pain.
Caged in this maddening place,
With no where to run in my haste.

Agony now a part of life,
I gaze off into the end of night.
My heart is clenched in my grasp,
"Why isn't it moving?"
I patiently ask.

Tear drops heard from afar,
My love is crying,
And is reaching through the bars.
Our hands simply cannot touch,
And all I give is a stare of trust.

"Why do you weep?
My lovely, my sweet?"
"I am so helpless,
I don't know what to do.
All I can say is:
'I - love - you.'"

"Don't cry for me,
For I am already dead.
My heart has ceased,
Take your tears somewhere else instead."

Her tears make me weep more,
My pain has peaked.
I'm screaming galore!
My eyes gouged out...
All I can do is shout!

Can this be the end for me?
Separated from my love,
All I want is my Lindsey

Anger!
Grant me a wish!
Scream your head off,
Go ahead and be *****!

But let me be with my love,
Let me be by her side.
Blood spurts out of my mouth,
I haven't much time.

Hold me my love,
Hold me while we lovers die.
As I push to the shove,
Let us both begin to cry... [comments] => 2 [counter] => 201 [topic] => 39 [informant] => ShadowsLuster [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
