I know we have a lot in common taking care of baby’s yay, yay! and curing the cries that come our way, but for some reason it isn' t the same were so stressed and broken everyday while trying to hold on to what we had god Shan it makes me so sad. I miss watching you flirt with a guy, you always carried yourself so innocent and high. Unlike me who played the game lied, ran away and wanted nothing but fame. I miss laughing at you with your smirks and your fits, I miss you telling me what chicken pieces are, you had such wits. I always wanted to be just like you, the one with the long hair that always grew the one who was honest, the one who was true. It makes me sad to see my girl tired wishing she could get some real rest I know for sure it would be the best to bring your spirit alive once more and get the Shan that I adore. I love your husband I think you choose well I can understand why you fell, fell in love with an old friend who treats you good like he should but again I miss you Shan. I miss watching you slip in mud running to a swing, I miss watching you buy gold rings thinking you had the "Bling, Bling". I miss your ugly rusted blue car, I miss being with you at at Metro Beach watching falling stars. I miss you whipping crayons at me, I miss you.... ***** I miss me. I miss looking over at you during our dance show watching you dance. You did good just to let you know! I miss hopping the fence with you, hiking in the woods. I miss eating our Easter candy and all the very much goods in our fort we found on a trail, you get this room and I'll get the nails. I miss swinging doing the spider with you, yelling Donald to give us an underdog I miss smothering you being Shannon’s hog. I miss staying up late with you singing as if we were stars, I miss sneaking out with you running threw a field under stars. I miss walking the rail road tracks with you leaving pennies on the rail to get them flat, I miss not worrying about being fat. I miss us pawning our gold for Burger King I miss hearing you beautifully sing. I miss you yelling at Rob during lunch just dieing to throw the very first punch. I miss smoking weed with you sitting together wrighting a poem or two. I miss Ceater Point in the back of the bus, I miss shocking you by bringing home Gus. I miss cruising Gratiot with you thinking geese were so cool me in red Filas and you in Used jeans hanging with Donna a weed smoking feen. I love you Shan. I miss being bored with you we were to young with nothing to do. I miss running from the cops in my car I miss talking to you from Kansas afar. I miss being young but most of all I miss you. I love you Shan I really do.......

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
