You locked me in hell and wouldn't give me the key
My eyes were covered, I could feel the heat but I couldn't see
I thought it was love, I felt that burning desire
I could fly high, but I was still walking on barbed wire
I believed your lies; I was young and naive
I loved your advances but they were misconceived
But I've grown up since; you won't get under my skin
I'm stronger than ever; I won't let you reach the me within
Everything you ever said to me was poison to my soul
Eventually I filtered through your lies, I took control
Everything I thought we had was a total misconception
So in the end, you lost your game of lies and deception

Yes, I like this. Our own (women) rebel yell! Lots of emotion, and very well said. Great piece!
