Yet I lay undisturbed still...

The remote flashes red,
Comforting music fills the room.
The Angry is still yelling
Yet I lay undisturbed still...

My eyes open softly,
As the strum of guitar and soft beats slip through the air.
Yellow filth I rub away,
And red cascades around the black voids.
Doors are slammed by the angry
Yet I lay undisturbed still...

I stand in the midst of a cold room
In only the thinnest of boxer shorts.
Throw on jeans
Search for a shirt
Curse the voices outside my door.
The angry is still yelling
Yet I stand undisturbed still...

A debate to leave my sanctum
Shall I open that door?
Thoughts erased on contact >
Pounds of footsteps grow near...
The angry is coming
Yet I stand undisturbed still. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 32 [informant] => ShadowsLuster [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

Oh hunni...
*hugs you tons*
*doesn't have the words*

I wish there was something I could say, something I could do to make it all better, but I know there isn't.
So, I'll just say that if you need someone to listen, I'm here.
(And I understand)

Great poem hunni, though it tuged at my heartstrings.

*hugs* Phil xxx
