The thing that many try to fight
But the battle is lost and it cost your life

It's attracted to those who breath is weak and voice is meek
Laying on the hospital bed saying help me please

Just speaking of it's name drives most insane
'Cause they remember the pain that it caused
Life Paused by the bullets shattered
The blood splattered
Because of something that didn't even matter
To the one who died

Causes many loved ones to die
Still in denial
Say that He's not dead
He's just taking an eternal rest
But then it's hard to reflect
Cause you start to reminisce about the bullets that were shoved into his chest

Sometimes it can be filled with so much pain
And sometimes it can be as sweet as a summer rain
But in either case can you imagine how much horror it brings

But hopefully in the heavens the Angels sing
Because a new child has arrived
Back to the home
In which she belonged
But in this world it's ashame how many people sing
Death's Song
