Array ( [sid] => 76963 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Color of Pain [time] => 2004-12-22 22:53:30 [hometext] => I wrote this poem just the other day....it's not the greatest, but it tells how i feel inside....please comment... [bodytext] => It's so hard...being trapped....
Trapped inside your own hate.
Feelings & frustrations, that I finally snapped
from trying to escape my inevitable fate.

All the pain is part of me,
eating away at my could be's...
and all my attempts to free myself-
to be myself.

I can't even put into words,
what it's like to be in a world that doesn't want me.
And my hopes & dreams are like a bird-
trying to take flight into reality....

Now crimson is my favourite color...
Flowing out & pouring over-
out it comes like a flood- into the water
spills my own blood.

I start to fall into myself
Away from the sham.
I only have myself to blame,
for my feelings being raped...
This is my escape.

I'm fading away now.
Hello...can you still hear me?
I watch them all, silently pitying me
with their heads bowed.
But it doesn't matter...my pain is set free...
And for a short while i was sane...
and I figured out the color of pain. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 225 [topic] => 13 [informant] => biggredd [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
