Perpetual states in which revolve thee
Releasing in mines self, proved dormant
Strength, nay, conviction an infinite degree

Alas I cast shadow from whence I came
For thy dream o'er thy reality has inspired me to great peril
Vouchsafe upon mines self, your hearts pure flame
Hence forth but a crippling sense of passionate heat tried feral

I beseech of thee for naught, but thine presence divine
Perchance hither thy heart some distant morn
Whilst time unfolds all mystery, twas meant by design
The part of thee, has grown in me, ne'er be forsworn.

I wrote this poem for a woman named Erika, the very thought of her inspires my pen to paper.

I never knew I was suppose to introduce the poem. This was the first poem i submitted.
Still trying to figure out this site.
All feed back is welcome...

Absolutely beautiful and the use of verbage just adds to the tenderness.
