happiness can’t be found
I need someone to talk to
but noone is around

my “friends” are always there
when I’m happy and carefree
but when the pain starts to show
they say they’ll “let me be”

But I don’t want to be alone
why can’t anyone see?
I need someone to be there
when life turns it’s back on me

There’s been days where nothing goes my way
sometimes there’s been weeks
I don’t know if I’ll ever find
the caring person that I seek

It seems like everyone around
is living the life they desire
and then I look at my life
and the pain burns like a fire

my world seems so empty
I feel like life is pointless
if only somebody cared
I wouldn’t seem so hopeless [comments] => 4 [counter] => 221 [topic] => 63 [informant] => Unspoken_Love [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => hbadday )

excellent write that has amazing rhythym and rhyme. no one wants to be alone, but sometimes it happens and it makes us appreciate others company all the more. maybe they dont understand this fact, and think they are doing right by you. since they think wrongly, you have to tell them the way it is so they dont keep doing it. if only it was so easy right?

I know exsactly how you felt when your wrote this poem. I have about 5 very similar to it. about friends only being around when you are happy and carefree but the second you get down they are like your bringing me down go away. I cried when I read this...its amazing. and it lets me know there are other people out there feeling the same way I do. So I thank you...b/c this really means something.
