The places that she takes me She knows how it just breaks me Down into the love I have inside. What she sees, I’m not getting But I just keep forgetting Love is always more than meets the eye. With emotions hanging on her wire My heart’s ablaze with sweet desire One last chance to find my way. She always looks at me and grins I know this is where love begins I feel it taking over my control. Can’t hide it, love is now exploding My head and heart are overloading Knowing this is where I must belong. I know how she could maybe hurt me But this time love will not desert me It’s much too strong to ever have an end. So much I feel, I cannot say Just know this is my place to stay I know that here with her, I‘m so in love. She makes it all seem very easy Does everything, just to please me Who on earth could ever ask for more? I thank the Lord for all my prayers Each time I catch her, with her stares I’ve found the life that I was dreaming of. She came to me, the chosen one To be with me until life’s done Forever making this the one to last. One more time, one more last time I’m praying on my final dime This will be My Love...For Life...For Good.
