What If it’s true what they say?
You don’t know what you’ve got, ‘till it’s gone.
What If you let it all go?
What tells your heart what is wrong?

How do you know what to trust?
What If your fate is just lies?
Who really knows all the answers?
Nothing hurts more than goodbyes.

Who should you choose if you’re unsure?
When one could be right by your side?
Another you love is so far away
What If you couldn’t decide?

Is there a right or wrong answer?
Or does destiny just choose and you follow?
What If you make the wrong turn?
What If there’s no pride left to swallow?

What If you make your decision
And you choose not to decide?
What If you’re meant to be lonely
And spend life alone on the outside.

Who says you can’t be by yourself?
Why do we need someone to love?
My lifetime is passing so quickly
What If it’s all I’m thinking of?

What If I’m heading to nowhere
And going straight down life’s dead end?
What If true love isn’t real?
What If it’s all just pretend?

Why should we be made to suffer?
Why doesn’t love leave me alone?
What If I try to refuse it?
What If it’s already gone?

What If it’s really too late?
What If I’ve let it slip by?
What If I can’t live without her?
What If I’ve lost my last try?

What If I just fall to pieces?
What If I can‘t have her to hold?
What If I’ve burned my last chances?
What If my heart just turns cold?

What If I take one more risk?
What If I search and I find?
What If she’s right here before me?
What If my heart’s just been blind?

What If I make myself happy?
What If I do it or die?
What If is the only question
What If it’s all just a lie? [comments] => 1 [counter] => 266 [topic] => 24 [informant] => Joker17 [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LoveRemembered )

excellent write. well written, just needs to tone down on the repetetive use of "what if" interesting questions to ponder, but life isnt meant to be wondered away.
