A warm summer's eve

As the sweet melody of the ocean

But tastes the loneliness of her tears

While the sun kisses her face
She smiles to her dreams
Reaching out she touches
Where her heart yearns to be

The face of an angel,
The song of a bird,
The delicacy of life,
The feel of the breeze,
The sent of the ocean...

When I close my eyes
And think of you
All of these things

She closes her eyes on
A warm summer's eve
And lifting her face feels

Dean, I think this is my favorite poem that I have written about Shadow. If only it were as easy to tell him how I feel as it is for me to write about it.

Dean, I don't know why we go through life saying if only, but I know that I do it all the time.
I came very close to telling him the other day but I backed out at the last minute. I don't know why but i just changed my mind, maybe i wasn't really ready.
