[bodytext] => There are days that I would change the world. The CD skipping mildly, this song my favorite song. There are days that I cannot live my life. The dreary sweater, the blue jeans, the Adidas cap over dirt and dusty brown hair. The black moons hovering beneath itchy blue eyes. There are some days that I would change; I would cover my love in advertising paint my face the bronze and flush and blinding white teeth. I would be diseased and wear a crown of no identity, I would wash and lather laugh my own obscenity. But today, today I am afraid. The darkness over string and fiddle, the calloused foot and hand and dancing fingers over black and white keys. Today, I wander hall after hall playing swollen smiles over sand and tile. There are too many sadnesses for me to see there is too much falsity underlying the beautiful blond, the brunette, the child with older eyes than I. There is no more humanity. The sky is an empty sky I cry I close my eyes The cars pull up The night is a leopard I am the snow I can hear the engine the sweet perfume of cigarettes and beer. I turn and walk away.
