Ripping up the world
just to see how fast it crumbles.
Slashing everything I hoped
and watching security deteriorate.
My life is injected into me
through syringes of misery.
I wait here, lying weakly,
waiting for my flesh to disappear.
Each day I wake I
wait to sink into the folds of the world,
wandering from
nothingness to disappointment and back.

I love this poem because of it's elegant simplicity. I can't tell how much I can't tell how much this poem relates to me, and I know that may be a sappy and predictable line but this poem really seems to reflect me in so many ways. It was a beautiful piece reflecting on my feelings as well as yours I'm sure.
