God's Sweet Grace

Contributed by Aranonddi on Sunday, 19th December 2004 @ 09:58:57 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

I know through all this, it's but a test
My Life will be stronger than I know
To put it all in the hands of God
Must be the answer I have to sow

I will learn most from these days of faith
To trust in no other but God's sweet grace
To stand up firm and bear his holy cross
So I can see and never be lost

To teach the gospel and spread his word
So heaven on earth can be fulfilled
Now I take this oath for all I've heard
In God I trust for the blood he spilled

If there are two things I don't like they are poems about god they are all the same. Which this is, there is nothing that goes POP its just...oh, okay. Number two, is war.

I really like this poem...I'm not very good at writing spiritual stuff myself, so everytime I see one of these I'm amazed...this was a pleasure to read, keep up the great writing!

God bless
