I remember a time when I thought you were the kindest person.
When I thought you were the smartest person I knew,
You could do anything you set your mind to do.
I was so proud of you, proud that you were you.
I had all the faith in the world that you would someday be someone great.
I always stood behind your every decision and beside you when others hoped you would fail.
Then one day I grew up and saw you for the person you truly were.
You are a weak depressed dreamer, a wonderer, a drunk and a failure.
I could not bear to look at you another moment.
So with tear filled eyes, I turned away from the mirror and walked away.
