Galactic Mess

I have seen the jumping horses
They are streetlights in distress
I have read the planet's discourses
How did we get into this galactic mess?
It seems something
Has agitated the ambassadors
They're in quite a fit
Over deliberations of peace
And the Solar System wants to quit
Now, I love a good show
Just like anybody
With candies, popcorn
And a nice, big soda to drink
But when the thing across from you
Tries to eat you as a compromise
It's a little bit hard to think
I want to take a mop
And even just one drop
Of wisdom would help shine this floor
Of galatic delegates up like new
We will get the people all ready
Before this place looks like a futuristic zoo
