I have seen so many hurt & cry,
Have seen many leave my side,
Witnessed as many friendships have died.

I see all the hustle & bustle of daily life,
I watch as a man kisses his dear wife,
I look on as lovers meet & make love,
I notice all from below to above.

Sitting here by my window,
I watch the trees as they blow,
I see the traffic whizzing past,
I am engrossed in the darkness of the past.

So many hours I must have wasted,
Thinking about things & hesitated,
So many regrets things I should have said,
But I just watched on wishing I was dead.

My life I have spent letting things pass me,
Never sure of what I wanted to be,
But that has changed now I have found my way,
Now I don’t just sit here as life goes by day after day

Here I am just watching as life ticks by,

I look on as lovers meet & make love,

I am engrossed in the darkness of the past.

So many hours I must have wasted,
Thinking about things & hesitated,
So many regrets things I should have said,
But I just watched on wishing I was dead.

My life I have spent letting things pass me,
Never sure of what I wanted to be,
But that has changed now I have found my way,
Now I don’t just sit here as life goes by day after day
