Array ( [sid] => 76174 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Last Goodbye [time] => 2004-12-17 10:25:52 [hometext] => This is about my friend Ashlee. I miss her everyday. [bodytext] => Blood is slowly dripping from her fingers
The smell of the bleeding cut lingers
The cut was made with no remorse
The knife cut her wrist with little force
Her blood is still warm as it drops to the floor
She doesn’t have to deal with any pain anymore
Her mother just sits and cries
As her daughter lays on the floor and dies
All the time her father is unaware
He can’t see his daughter’s blank stare
For he left years ago
But her pain she never dared to show
She never showed how much she needed him there
Needed him to be around and care
So many times she had thought about doing it
All she ever did with the knife was sit
Sit and stare at the imprint it made
Waited around until the feelings would fade
But this time was different
This time it made more than just a little dent
It broke her shell and really made her cry
She sat with the knife watching the hours go by
All the time wanting to die
This time she couldn’t help the feeling
This time she never started healing
Her pain just grew and grew
Until she did what she felt she had to
She let the knife tear at her skin
She heard the clock as the chime signaled it was ten
Her mother came to tuck her in bed
The she saw the blood that had been shed
She screamed out her daughter’s name
And instantly felt she was to blame
She sat and cried as she watched her daughter die
For she never got to say her last goodbye [comments] => 2 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 13 [informant] => DominionOcculta [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
