everything seemed unreal like a bad day without the rain.
I got up to do the usual routine,
just to find out that what I see is not what is to be seen.
I saw the dark skys and felt the effect of them,
but there was this one bright rose growing off this stem.
It was standing strong not worrying about the cloudy day,
it wasnt going to be pushed down it wasnt going away.
It stood up tall and bright and never let down,
everything was gray except this rose that is how it was found.
It sparked something in me and held me from speaking,
my eyes closed and I sat there thinking.
If this rose can stand so tall and proud,
in the dark day and be so loud.
Then we can make it through our struggles if we dont let down,
we can be seen and noticed our voices will make a sound.
