Hearing your weeps makes my soul die,
Seeing your tears fall makes me blue,
I know that it is me who has done this to you.

I want to wrap you up inside my soul,
Protect you like a horse would protect her foal,
Keep you safe; stroke your head as you fall asleep,
Forever in my heart you I will keep.

If I could turn back time then I would,
Change the bad words replace them with good,
Turn the row into a tirade of kisses,
To see your heart smile is what mine misses.

I whisper words of love into your ear,
Try to bandage up the damage of my words spear,
I will sit by your side until you fully heal,
Across your heart I will then place my seal.

One that can’t be seen but is so strong,
It will stay with you all your life long,
Hush my baby please don’t weep,
I will love you, love you to sleep.

ahh so beautifully written. I wish I could
rhyme like you just did in this poem that takes
talent! A very lovely poem, but I think I'll shut
up and go read it again.
