Before Christmas day.
I snuggled in my blankets,
And slowly closed my eyes.

Then I had a sudden thought,
I felt to the left of me,
I felt to the right of me.
And to my surprise,
Teddy had GONE!

I asked my brothers,
If they had seen teddy.
But they just said,
"No!"

I asked my dad,
If he had seen teddy,
But he just said,
"Sorry I don't, so please go back to bed."

I lastly asked my mum,
If she had seen teddy.
But she said,
"I don't know, but don't worry, we will look in the morning. Now please go to bed."

So I went to my Bedroom,
I checked left and right,
Up and down.
Then I looked under my bed and there was teddy!
I hugged him and went to bed,
But to my surprise,
Teddy whispered in my ear,
"Don't lose me again, ok?"
I nodded and whispered back,
"Goodnight teddy." [comments] => 3 [counter] => 204 [topic] => 5 [informant] => tawnii [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChildrensPoetry )
