I caught a glimpse of your smile today,
As you walked away from me.
My eyes followed, though my body stayed,
And my soul went forth with thee.
You clasped a hand; you laughed aloud.
I blessed your fingers; I worshiped the sound.
Your sparkling gaze danced 'round the crowd,
As you walked away from me.
Your gaze touched mine for a moment today,
As you walked away from me.
A spark of life raced through my heart,
Yet it died just as quickly.
For I realized that you're no longer my own,
And my heart's become as dead as stone.
Now I walk this world, cold and alone,
Since you've walked away from me.
My hand brushed yours e'er faintly today,
As you walked away from me.
And through the soft, enchanting touch
Came flooding memories.
Of a time long ago, in a fantasy past;
In your loving embrace, when I thought love would last.
Now you've shattered my world, and a bitter spell cast.
Still, you walk away from me.

aww this is a beautiful and sad write on losing love.. i got a lil misty eyed reading it.. I hope you can over come this loss ..
