My heart is a jigsaw, many pieces,
Hope and pain and secret wishes
Start with the borders and work to the centre

Only then will I let you enter.

My character is a puzzle box,
With many sides and intricate locks
Search long and hard for every key

Then I’ll reveal the inner me.

My life is a riddle, no clear answers,
So many choices, so few chances
Find a way through this morass

Until then you cannot pass.

My love is a maze, twists and turnings,
Joyful passions and many yearnings
Choose carefully the path you wish to enter

You may get lost within its centre.

Jigsaws, puzzles, riddles and mazes,
Too much perhaps, for surface gazers
But for the patient soul who finds the means

A promise of more enticing games.

This is exactly enticement that loves, the game of the love, seek the stimulus of the love. We love, because love it mysterious difficult to resolve, love we, it is ourselves' glamour of the reason.

Wonderful write, spike. A most exemplary poem.
I am not surprised. You never cease to amaze.
You have such a way of capturing a single feeling and
expressing it in exceptional form. I truly enjoyed this one.

Dang, Spike, there ain't no better way to "learn" the rules than to lay yours all out at the outset with such sweetness, assertive, gentle warnin's 'n' mysterious promise in your very skillfully structured - no masterfully structured talent-ladened usage of words. Let's see, oh well - SUPERB again. I'll always be in AWE. Anyone found all the keys?
