With the oceans breeze dancing in a circle around you

You start to glow from the moons light shedding its grace on you

Your dark black hair fading into the background as if juxtapose with the scenery

To see which was more beautiful and loved most by me

Your blue eyes trap me now is they did when we first met

Your pale skin resonates with so many of its charming qualities

Its soft touch and smell of white plum flowers in bloom

Your feet kicking up sand as you dance around calling me

So I go to you and pick you up with my mighty arms

Your eyes outshine the stars in the sky

The waves come ashore to make our foot prints fade

To make it seem as if we were never there filling it with envy

We fall down and start to role around the white silk like sand

For a while till you are on top of me and kiss my tired desperate brow

Then mingle your lips with mine for one ever lasting kiss

After the kiss you stand up and run away taunting me to chase you so I do

You run fast but I catch you in the end like I always do

Then push you into the water where we are covered by a wave

As if it too wanted to play a part in our little game

I carry you in my mighty arms once more to bring you closer to where you came

As I look at you and see the sun rising behind you in the horizon

Then we start to fade out again back into my memories

And I am alone sitting on the rocks again swimming in the pools of the past

John are you crazy?!?!
This has got to be one of your best poems!
It has so much imagery. Its just beautiful!
Ok it has slight sadness in it but it is just a master piece of tenderness and beauty!

You shouldnt be so hard on yourself about your ability!

Love
Stace xx

a poem filled with such ache, yet written with
such poignant imagery. I loved this poem and
I am sure the past depicted in this poem will
once again turn into reality.
